Blank Park Zoo President/CEO Anne Shimerdla and her team have committed to a Behind the Scenes Tour for DMAM Members on June 17 at 4:00 p.m. followed immediately by VIP early entrance to Zoo Brew at 5:30 p.m. Tour participants are expected to attend Zoo Brew. Behind the Scenes Tour Arrival: Discovery Center no later than 3:50 p.m. Time: 4:00 p.m. sharp. Adults only. Closed-toe shoes required. Weather: Tour may be rescheduled for severe weather. Tour highlights include the Eastern black rhino barn, giraffe barn at feeding time, coral conservation, and Blanding’s turtle conservation. The Zoo has generously waived the regular $150 per person tour fee.
