DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered what really happens during a week at Iowa RYLA? \nWe invite you to join us on Tuesday\, July 28\, 2026\, for Rotarian Visit Day at Grinnell College and experience the energy\, leadership development\, and life-changing impact of Iowa RYLA firsthand. \nThis year’s Visit Day coincides with our popular Shark Tank Experience\, where nearly 200 high school students work in teams to develop a service project they can take back to their communities. Throughout the day\, conferees participate in a series of Rotary-themed challenges\, learn about Rotary’s history and values\, and build a project proposal before presenting it to a panel of judges. \nAs a visiting Rotarian\, you will have the opportunity to: \n• Shadow a Team Lead and experience RYLA from the inside\n• Observe student leadership development in action\n• Participate in portions of the Shark Tank Experience\n• Serve as a subject matter expert for student project presentations\n• Learn more about how RYLA impacts young leaders across Iowa\n• Meet the Iowa RYLA leadership team and ask questions about the program \nTo make participation convenient\, we are offering two check-in options:\nOption 1: Check-in at 8:00 a.m.\nOption 2: Check-in at 9:30 a.m. \nThe day’s activities conclude at approximately 4:00 p.m.\nLunch is available in the Grinnell College Dining Hall for $14 per person\, or guests are welcome to dine off campus. \nWhether your club currently sponsors RYLA students or you are simply curious about the program\, this is an excellent opportunity to see firsthand how Rotary is developing the next generation of leaders. \nPlease register by completing the Visit Day form:\nRYLA Rotarian Visit Day Sign Up 2026 \nAdditional details\, including the full agenda and volunteer opportunities\, are included here: 2026 Iowa RYLA Rotarian Visit Day \nWe hope you’ll join us for an inspiring day at Iowa RYLA 2026! \nSteve Wieneke and Iowa RYLA Leadership Team \n
