How Grant Funds are Being Utilized

DMAM FOUNDATION GRANT RECIPIENT PRESENTATIONS - MAY 8TH

On May 1st we will hear from half of this year's grant recipients.  Here is a list of the organizations who will present at Fridays meeting, with a brief explanation of how the funds will be - or have been - used.  Join us for this powerful and informative program!

• Blank Children’s Hospital – For the purchase of car seats for families in need.
• Dress For Success – For $10 gas cards to assist 100 women by removing the barrier of arriving for a job interview.
• Epilepsy Foundation of Iowa – Epilepsy educational programs, literature, tool kits, and five epilepsy youth camp scholarships.
• Human Choice/InnerVisions Healthcare – New exam table and emergency material needs (to meet unpredictable needs of patients).
• Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Iowa, Inc. – To purchase comfortable chairs for 8 guest suites to provide nursing mothers a more comfortable seating option.

Another grant recipient presentation date is planned in October to accommodate presentations by the remaining recipients.
